“Bridging the Gap Between Basic Research and Biotech Industry – How Cooperations Can Shape the Future of Life Sciences”

Julia Rietsche, Zymo Research Europe and Thorsten Stehlik, Promega provide insights into exiting research cooperations and personal growth. 
Julia Rietsche will talk about: 
“Project BubbleMeth – When Biological Processes & Mechanical Engineering Meet: Microbes as Bio Reactors”
The speaker will outline the research cooperation with regard to project BubbleMeth, provide an overview of Zymo Research’s work and give some insights into her own biography.  
Dr. Thorsten Stehlik will talk about:
Scientific Progress Through Collaboration: A Personal and Professional Perspective
The speaker will give an insightful talk on how Promega collaborates with scientists and will provide a personal account with regard to his the transition from academia to industry.
