Prof. Stefan Bittner works on understanding the mechanisms underlying the crosstalk between the immune and central nervous systems. He participates in several Collaborative Research Centers (CRCs), including the CRC TR128 Initiating/effector versus regulatory mechanisms in Multiple Sclerosis – progress towards tackling the disease.
